Level 1 Ice Technician Certification course

Online Signup closes on 8/27 5pm CDT. Cost is $175.
This is the entry-level training course and the focus will be on maintaining a quality ice surface for club curling. Topics will include: flooding - the science and practice; maintaining the ice surface - shaving, hand scraping, repairs; and pebbling - technique and impact on playing conditions. David Staveteig, USA Curling head ice technician, will teach the course.

The Annual General Membership meeting will be held Thursday, March 29, from 7-9pm at Stanley's Bar at the Sharks Ice facility in Fremont. All members are welcome, and those who do not vote online are welcome to vote in person for the election. Results will be tabulated and announced at the meeting.
