Come make curling history! SFBACC is celebrating curling and our community with a half-million people at our first San Francisco Pride on Sunday, June 30th. Sponsored in part by the USCA's Darwin Curtis grant, we aim to raise awareness of the sport in the Bay Area and beyond.
All members, family, and friends are welcome. Pride Parade contingents are packed with people who aren't LGBT, but support those who are and celebrate their organization's role in the community. We want Bay Area Curling to be a big and vibrant bunch. The more, the merrier.
We are thrilled to announce that our very own USCA Certified Master Trainer, Wes Seeger, will be holding a set of advanced lessons on Fridays and Saturdays this summer. See inside for details.
Thanks to everyone who made the 2013 Golden Gate Bonspiel fantastic! (We're talking to you, out-of-town teams and volunteers!) Some (but not all) of the photos from this weekend are up on the SFBACC Picasa site. Here are links to three albums. More photos may appear in them at later this week - and more albums are likely to pop up!

The Spring Competitive Curling BBQ will be at Gabrielle's house Sunday, June 2 from 3-6 pm. All are welcome! Contact Gabrielle firstname.lastname@example.org for details, or find the Evite link on our FB page.
Thanks to all who came to the SJ End-of-One-League-Beginning-of-Anoth
The SFBACC Annual General Meeting was a huge success thanks to a strong showing from our membership! Our elections are complete, so congratulations to your new board of directors:

Wednesday March 13th is the 55th anniversary of the San Francisco Bay Area Curling Club!
The SFBACC is holding its semiannual competitive curling BBQ/pot luck on Sunday, May 19(the weekend before the bonspiel) in Mountain View. The food and fun will start at 3, and then a group discussion of any and all issues related to competitive curling will start at 4 pm. This is a great chance for new curlers who are curious about the competitive curling process to meet folks and ask questions. It's also an important opportunity for experienced players to shape our future playdown and training plans.
