Membership
Anyone can participate in San Francisco Bay Area Curling Club (SFBACC) lessons, curling clinics, and bonspiels, but to play in leagues or curl competitively, you must become a member.
We like to think that the best gift you get for joining the SFBACC is us, the members! But there are some other reasons to become part of this 50+ year tradition:
The membership year goes from July 1 to June 30 of the following year. The dues are not prorated, so in joining, you may get less than one full year. (We do this to match up with the USCA and other curling clubs, and most clubs don't curl year round so there's an obvious "curling season".) However, if you join in the last three months of the membership year (April 1 to June 30), your membership will apply through the end of the following membership year. (For example, if you joined in May of 2009, your membership would be good through June 30, 2010.)

Regular Membership
Open to all
Dues: $60 ($100 for two with a second family member)
Benefits include:
• Membership in the Mountain Pacific Curling Association (MoPac)
• Membership in the US Curling Association (USCA)
• Opportunity to “playdown” for US National Championship events representing the San Francisco Bay Area Curling Club (SFBACC)
• Subscription to “The Curling News” newspaper
• Opportunity to play in all SFBACC curling leagues
• Right to vote in SFBACC elections
• Right to hold office in SFBACC
• Invitation to SFBACC social events, picnics, etc.
• First-time members receive a free name badge
• Access to "members-only" section of club web site
Reciprocal Membership
This is for curlers who are already members at another curling club within 200 miles of San Francisco and thus are already members of MoPac and the USCA.
Dues: $25
Benefits include:
• Opportunity to “playdown” for US National Championships events representing the San Francisco Bay Area Curling Club (SFBACC)
• Opportunity to play in all SFBACC curling leagues
• Right to vote in SFBACC elections
• Right to hold office in SFBACC
• Invitation to SFBACC social events, picnics, etc.
• First-time members receive a free name badge
• Access to "members-only" section of club web site
Youth Membership
Open to curlers who are 14 to 21 years of age
Dues: $40
Benefits include:
• Membership in the Mountain Pacific Curling Association (MoPac)
• Membership in the US Curling Association (USCA)
• Opportunity to “playdown” for US National Championship events representing the San Francisco Bay Area Curling Club (SFBACC)
• Subscription to “The Curling News”
• Opportunity to play in all SFBACC curling leagues
• Invitation to SFBACC social events, picnics, etc.
• First-time members receive a free name badge
• Access to "members-only" section of club web site
• Youth members who are 18 or older are eligible to vote in club elections and serve on the board of directors

Note: Unfortunately, the USCA has discontinued their partnership with Curl TV. Thus, the Curl TV membership is no longer a benefit of USCA membership.
