Level 1 Ice Technician Certification course
Online Signup closes on 8/27 5pm CDT. Cost is $175.
This is the entry-level training course and the focus will be on maintaining a quality ice surface for club curling. Topics will include: flooding - the science and practice; maintaining the ice surface - shaving, hand scraping, repairs; and pebbling - technique and impact on playing conditions. David Staveteig, USA Curling head ice technician, will teach the course.
