The Sparkler Spiel is a social bonspiel (casual tournament) for curlers of all experience levels, and a great way to meet other members of the club. Similar to previous dayspiels (*gobble-gobble hop-hop Turkeyspiel and Bunnyspiel*), this spiel format will be teams of 3 playing a series of 2-end games over 3 hours. Normal rules of curling with some variations:

• Each team of 3 players throws 6 rocks per end, free guard rule for first 2 rocks
• Each game is 2 ends, scoring is 1pt/rock, 2pts/end, 4pts/game (We'll go over everything at the start.)

It’s $50/person to sign up and it includes BBQ post play! (If you have any dietary restrictions, please add that under "Notes to the Club" when you register.)

Register as a team or individual to be matched with others (we'll do our best to balance teams by experience level). It'll be a BLAST (figuratively speaking...no actual fireworks)! The BBQ post ice time will be a great time to socialize with fellow curlers over the holiday weekend. We'll also setup some off-ice games outdoors and keep the fun going until early evening!

P.S. The Sparkler Spiel is open to members from neighboring clubs and any curler currently active in a SFBACC program (I.e. - Lesson Series, Beginners League, etc.) are welcome to sign up!
