As of February 1st, COVID vaccination will be required for anyone over the age of 5 years old entering the SFBACC facility, per a new City of Oakland ordinance and SFBACC policy.
Full Vaccination/Fully Vaccinated means 14 or more days after completing the entire recommended series of vaccination with a COVID-19 Vaccine. Currently, an individual is considered Fully Vaccinated at least two weeks after receiving a second dose of the Pfizer or Modema COVID-19 Vaccine or two weeks after receiving the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine.
Boosters are highly recommended, but not currently a requirement
Proof of vaccination must be validated with an acceptable form of ID for everyone 18 years and over.
For all individuals 2 years and older (regardless of vaccination status), face coverings/masks will be required inside the building at all times, including during play. Mask use will conform to CDC and California Department of Public Health (CDPH) guidelines. SFBACC requires:
A mask of the following type: N-95, KN95/KF94, surgical masks, cloth with at least 2 layers (3 or more preferred).
No vented masks, single-layer or loose-fitting masks (i.e. bandanas, gaiters), or face shields alone (though these may be worn in addition to a compliant mask)
Masks must tightly cover the nose and mouth, and be secured under the chin at all times while indoors (except when eating or drinking)
