Sweepers practic e using observation and judgement to estimate and call out weight of throw n stones. \; Practice calling weights and throwing to called weight. Sweepers involved to get rocks to desired spot. Includes guards\, draws\, and hit weights (with instructor to provide hit weight feedback using hog -to-hog times)  \; Practices are led by intermediate-level inst ructors with the skills necessary to succeed in early leagues\, but whose memories of being a new curler are fresh in mind. \;  \; The p ractice will start with a refresher on this week’s topic followed by dri lls and a scrimmage consisting of throwing stones\, sweeping\, and calling shots in real game situations.
