Reinforce importance of sweepers calling out weights at least thr ee times per throw Practice sweeping drills\, including judgement of wei ghts Practice throwing stones and sweeping\, including getting rocks to desired spot. Focus on guards and draws\, with instructor providing feedba ck  \; Practices are led by intermediate-level instructors with the skills necessary to succeed in early leagues\, but whose memories of being a new curler are fresh in mind. \;  \; The practice will start with a refresher on this week’s topic followed by drills and a sc rimmage consisting of throwing stones\, sweeping\, and calling shots in re al game situations.
