Guided practices a re designed to introduce basic drills for fundamental skill development. T he goal is to help our new curlers develop more comfort on the ice and lea rn how to utilize practice ice more effectively. Sessions are run by diffe rent instructors who will focus on a topic each session (see what is plann ed for each registration). \;All practice and instruction is on-ice\; there is no classroom time. Topics can range from: Fundamental deli very drills that focus on: Balance\, Delivery Setup\, Alignment\, Weight C ontrol\, Release\, Delivery timing Sweeping basics Communication 101 Use of practice equipment: gates\, cones\, etc Open Coaching: Our exper ienced instructors will teach drills based on participant request (group c onsensus) \;  \;  \; Note: SFBACC also runs skill clini cs and lessons.
