Guided practices are designed to introduce basic drills for f undamental skill development. The goal is to help our new curlers develop more comfort on the ice and learn how to utilize practice ice more effecti vely. Sessions are run by different instructors who will focus on a topic each session (see what is planned for each registration). \;All practi ce and instruction is on-ice\; there is no classroom time. Topics can ra nge from: Fundamental delivery drills that focus on: Balance\, Delive ry Setup\, Alignment\, Weight Control\, Release\, Delivery timing Sweepi ng basics Communication 101 Use of practice equipment: gates\, cones\, etc Open Coaching: Our experienced instructors will teach drills based on participant request (group consensus) \;  \;  \; Not e: SFBACC also runs skill clinics and lessons.
