Guided practices are designed to int roduce basic drills for fundamental skill development. The goal is to help our new curlers develop more comfort on the ice and learn how to utilize practice ice more effectively. Sessions are run by different instructors w ho will focus on a topic each session (see what is planned for each regist ration). All practice and instruction is on-ice\; there is no classroom t ime. Topics can range from: Fundamental delivery drills that focus on: Balance\, Delivery Setup\, Alignment\, Weight Control\, Release\, Deli very timing Sweeping basics Communication 101 Use of practice equipm ent: gates\, cones\, etc Open Coaching: Our experienced instructors will teach drills based on participant request (group consensus)      Note: SFBACC also runs skill clinics and lessons.
