All players are divided into two teams: the Sunshine Sweepers vs. Kurl the Fog. Every game you play earns points for your club team, with bragging rights (and the battle for the summer) on the line. This year, each team will have captains to rally the troops and coordinate lineups — interested in leading the charge? Indicate your interest during registration.

Play one day or all four — totally up to you. Select whichever draws you want during registration, no all-or-nothing commitment required. [Note: You must be registered on our website (free) or a club member to participate in this event.]

Rules of the Tournament

The Showdown kicks off with a mini-spiel: teams of three play fast, 2-end games in a fun tournament format.

For the remaining draws, we mix it up — expect doubles, traditional fours, Sturling, skins, and more. Every format gets a rules explanation before the draw, so don't hesitate to try something new. Indicate your format interests during registration.

After each draw, any registered player can compete in Hot Shots — individual skills challenges like draw to the button, hit and roll, and more. The top 8 scores per day count toward the club team standings, with one requirement: each team's count must include scores from at least one junior and one 2-and-under curler. (It'll make sense when we do it!) See the score sheet here.

After the last draw on Thursday, June 25, we'll "wreck the ice" and prepare for the big melt. See you out there!

All experience levels are welcome!

Up to 30 volunteers who have reached Silver tier or higher can play in any draw — including the mini-spiel — for free. Coupon info will be sent to eligible players.

Have a voucher from volunteer awards or a purchased package? It can be applied toward your registration.

Players currently registered for the Sunday Juniors league will be automatically registered at no additional charge.
