Become a Member

Not at all. Anyone can participate in our Learn to Curl events, lessons, and many of our bonspiels, but to play or spare in leagues, or curl competitively as a representative of the club, you must be a current member.

You can see our current league offerings and dates here. As a member, you’ll be notified of the process for signing up for leagues when our next registration period opens. If leagues are underway, you’ll be able to spare in league games for other members and book practice ice at the member rate.

We’re committed to building a club without barriers to curling—we don’t want financial constraints to stop anyone from curling. If the cost of membership is currently prohibitive for you for any reason, please contact our membership coordinator. 

All of your membership dues go towards membership benefits and core costs of the club. Our goal is always to keep costs of membership and curling as low as possible.

About 50% of your dues goes toward memberships in the curling associations (Mountain Pacific Curling Association, US Curling Association, and US Women’s Curling Association) that enable you to compete regionally and nationally in 5-and-unders and club playdowns, as well as a number of other benefits to the club. The rest goes almost entirely to the cost of insurance per member — so you can step on the ice — plus small things we all need like name tags. Membership dues aren’t designed to cover ongoing operations, improvements, or loan repayments.
