Seeing Double: Intro to Doubles Clinic
Curious about what it's like to play doubles? Get a quick introduction and try your hand at this unique version of curling before registration opens for our next doubles league! Whether you're an experienced curler looking to try something new or have recently come to a Learn to Curl or lesson and want to give it a try, this intro clinic is for you.
Our Intro to Doubles Clinic will cover all you need to know to start playing in a doubles league or pick-up game, including how rules and strategy are different from the traditional four-person team format.
The 2-hour clinic includes:
- 30 minutes of off-ice instruction
- 15 minutes of on-ice rock positioning, a warm up drill
- 1 hour coached games
- 15 min of off-ice debrief and Q&A
This clinic is open to anyone who has already been to a Learn to Curl event, lesson series, or played for longer. You don't need a doubles partner to sign up for this clinic.
Anyone completing this clinic may apply their $20 entry fee to a Spring 2025 Doubles League Entry!
