Join us for a guided practice on the physics of curling, with a focus on takeouts. We'll set up scenarios to demonstrate:

• Hits and rolls: the affect of speed, rotation, and high side vs. low side
• Double takeouts: where to hit to make both stones go away
• Point of impact: how to broom for where you want the shot stone to hit the stationary stone
• Drag effect: what is it and when to use it

 Not just for skips and vices! This is helpful at any position for understanding why a shot was or wasn't called and why a shot was or wasn't made. Also great for doubles players who are calling their own shots.
