Join us on October 24th, 2026, at the The San Francisco Bay Area Curling Club, in Oakland, CA for the Level 2 Instructor Course. The course will run from  12:30 PM to 5:30 PM PT. 

Before you arrive, please complete the following:

1. Have taken a USA Curling Level 1 Instructor Course
2. Take a basic online First Aid course. Once you have completed it, upload the certification in your MyUSACurling profile. Click "View Profile" and choose "Course Prerequisites" from the profile menu, and add the certification. If you already have First Aid certification through another activity, you can simply upload the documents without needing to take another course.
3. Complete the required SafeSport training. You can access it from your MyUSACurling profile by clicking "View Profile" and then "Center for SafeSport Training."
4. Sign an Event Waiver. Event Waivers are accessible from the profile menu as well.

If these steps are done in advance of the course, you will receive your instructor patches upon successful completion of the training. 

The registration fee for this course is $95 for Basic members, $85 for members with Membership Upgrades. 
Current Level 2 Instructors are invited to take this course as a refresher with a 50% discount. This discount is automatically applied by selecting "Level 2 Refresher" during the registration.

If a minimum threshold of 10 participants is not met, the course may be cancelled. Registration refunds will be issued, less the credit card transaction fees.
