Guided practices are for:

• New curlers who have completed at least some level of introductory instruction
• Any curler who is new to practice ice or looking to improve or learn a fundamental element of the game.

Guided practices are designed to introduce basic drills for fundamental skill development. The goal is to help our new curlers develop more comfort on the ice and learn how to utilize practice ice more effectively. Sessions are run by different instructors who will focus on a topic each session (see what is planned for each registration). All practice and instruction is on-ice; there is no classroom time.

Topics can range from:

• Fundamental delivery drills that focus on: Balance, Delivery Setup, Alignment, Weight Control, Release, Delivery timing
• Sweeping basics
• Communication 101
• Use of practice equipment: gates, cones, etc
• Open Coaching: Our experienced instructors will teach drills based on participant request (group consensus)

Pricing:

• Non-Members - $15/hour (curling experience required)
• Members - $10/hour
• Note: New member Lesson and LL Perk coupons may be used for guided practices
