The Ball Bonspiel Non-Member Registration 2024

It’s time to walk the walk at our annual LGBTQ+ bonspiel, The Ball! Curlers who are part of the LGBTQ+ community and allies are welcome to join us for a weekend of voguing, celebrating, and curling!

This year's category: Tropical Fantasy. Be ready to tropic like it’s hot and shake your palm palms in our house.

• Friday through Sunday, June 21-23, 2024
• 24 teams
• 3-game guarantee
• Open format
• Saturday night banquet & entertainment
• $480 per team/$120 per individual

Registration Details

Registration opens on Wednesday, March 13 at 12PM (PST). 

• We are accepting 8 SFBACC member and 16 out-of-town/non-member teams (24 teams total).
• We welcome both team AND individual registrations.  
  • Team Registration: Please select Group Registration and purchase 2 to 4 spots. Teams with less than 4 registrations will be paired with individual players by the organizers. Teams must have at least 2 named players to register a full team (i.e. up to two TBD spots may be purchased). 
  • Individual Registrations: Please select Individual Registration and indicate your preferred playing postion. The organizers will pair up individuals with teams. 
• To qualify as an SFBACC member team, there must be a minimum of two SFBACC members on the team and membership sign-in is required to complete registration. If either registration block does not fill in two weeks, all remaining spots will open to general registration.
• We also ask that registrations beginning March 13th be limited to LGBTQ+ individuals, and groups and teams with at least one member of the LGBTQ+ community. While we love and welcome allies, to ensure our LGBTQ+ siblings have ample opportunity to join us, we kindly ask you all to wait until March 27th before registering.
